Préparer son enfant à la photo scolaire

Preparing your child for the school photo

Picture day approaching? Don't panic! With a little preparation and a lot of good humor, your little star will be ready to shine in front of the camera. Here are five simple (and slightly funny) tips for stress-free memories.

1. Choose the winning outfit
Put aside spaghetti-stained sweaters and slogans that will make people cringe in ten years. Choose solid colors or subtle patterns that highlight their face and eyes. The important thing is that they feel comfortable in their clothes. A comfortable child will always smile more than one stuck in a shirt that's too tight.

2. Sleep well and eat well
A rested child is a happy child. The night before, set bedtime earlier for a good night's sleep. In the morning, plan an energizing but not messy breakfast: save the chocolate-covered toast for the weekend! And above all, give yourself some time to avoid running around.

3. A comb is enough
No need to break out the hairspray and curling iron. A quick brush or comb is all it takes to tame flyaways. For long hair, slip a spare hair tie into your pocket or backpack. That way, even if a ponytail comes loose along the way, you'll be prepared.

4. Lighten the mood
Some children can be intimidated by the camera. Reassure them by explaining that the session will be short and that the photographer is a professional who knows how to put children at ease. You can invent a little joke or a secret word to remember when they smile. Nothing like a giggle for a natural portrait!

5. Stay calm (and so does he)
Kids sense our stress. Breathe, smile, and remember that perfection doesn't exist. The key is to capture their personality and unique smile. And if a strand of hair sticks out or a pimple appears, our retouchers can work wonders. Enjoy the moment, we'll take care of the rest!

By following these simple tips, you will give your child a pleasant experience and memories that they will be proud to look back on in a few years.
